👉 What You NEED to Know for Your Observation
As you prepare for your forklift observation at Stanley, Black & Decker, it’s important to be aware of the following:
Arrival Time: Aim to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled observation to allow time for parking and checking in.
Dress Code: Be sure to dress appropriately to complete your observation.
Mandatory Drug Screen: A mandatory drug screen is part of your forklift observation. Please note that leaving the facility at any point during this process will be considered a drug screen refusal, and you will not be eligible to reapply for six months.
Identification: Bring a valid ID with you for the drug screening process
Employment Condition: Your eligibility to work at this facility is contingent upon successfully passing the forklift observation, the mandatory drug screening, and meeting the background check requirements after the observation.
👉 Here's the Dress Code
Steel-toed shoes are REQUIRED - You will NOT be allowed to complete your forklift observation without them.
Standard warehouse attire is appropriate: No tight, loose/baggy, spandex, mesh shirts, or midriff shirts. No ripped or dangling jeans.
Clothing must be clean, in good repair, and appropriate for a warehouse environment.
Personal grooming: Hair and beards should be tied up if below the shoulders. No dangling jewelry or hoop earrings.
PPE provided by SBD: Safety glasses and hearing protection.

Go to Account > Profile > Click on the Pencil Icon on the Top Right > Click Upload Photo
You can choose an image from your camera or gallery. (Make sure to give MyWorkChoice access to your camera).

Where to Park:
When you arrive, follow the signs directing you to the Visitor & Parking areas. Please be sure to only park in the designated parking areas.
Where to Enter into Building:
For your forklift observation, enter through the main entrance and notify security that you are there for the MyWorkChoice forklift observation.
