At MyWorkChoice, we value offering workers the flexibility to choose their work schedule, however, we're counting on you to be reliable and show up to the shifts you've scheduled.

Excessive shift drops, no-call no-shows, and last-minute drops put our team in a tight spot and will lead to a temporary shift restriction, which means you won’t be able to work or schedule any shifts.

Here's What You Should Know:

πŸ‘‰ Shift Restriction Guidelines

Failing to follow the below guidelines within a 30 day period will lead to a Shift Restriction.

  • Excessive Shift Drops - 10 Dropped Shifts

  • No Call No Show - 2 No Call, No Shows

  • Last Minute Drop (within 6 hours of start time) - 4 Last Minute Drops

  • Time Clock Violations - 3 Violations

πŸ‘‰ Multiple Shift Restrictions Within 30 Days

Repeated violations within 30 days will lead to escalating restrictions. This helps emphasize the importance of committing to your shifts and staying reliable.

  • 1st Restriction: 7 days without the ability to pick up and work shifts.

  • 2nd Restriction: 14 days without the ability to pick up and work shifts.

  • 3rd Restriction: Removal from the MyWorkChoice community.

Please Note: If you become restricted, any upcoming shifts will be canceled.

πŸ‘‰ Shift Restriction Tracker

In the MyWorkChoice App you will see a violation tracker. This feature will show you the number of No-Call, No-Shows, Last-Minute Drops, Time Clock Violations, and Total Dropped Shifts you have, so you always know where you stand.

🟩 Green: Good work, you have no shift violations.

🟨 Yellow: Heads Up, you have a few shift violations.

πŸŸ₯ Red: Yikes, You're close to a Shift Restriction.

πŸ‘‰ How to Avoid Shift Restrictions

We want to help you keep scheduling shifts without restrictions. Follow these steps to stay in the green:

Choose Wisely: Every shift you schedule counts. Only schedule the shifts you're sure you can work.

Drop Shifts Early: We understand life happens. If you can't make a shift, please drop it ASAP in the app.

Check Your Tracker: Regularly review your violation tracker in the app to know where you stand and avoid a restriction.

Plan Ahead: Review your upcoming shifts regularly and adjust your schedule early to prevent a No Call, No Show.

Following these steps helps you avoid shift restrictions while maintaining a high Reliability Rating. This keeps you in the green and opens up more shift options.

Our team is counting on you! The flexibility we give workers comes with the responsibility to schedule shifts you're committed to working. These Shift Restriction Guidelines help keep a fair work environment for everyone on the team.
