We totally understand that life happens. Your kiddo is sick or a family emergency came up and you're not able to work your shift.
Instead of calling, texting, or emailing your Community Director you'll be able to use the MyWorkChoice app to let us know you're not able to work by using the "drop a shift" feature. This will automatically notify your Community Director that you're unable to make your shift.
*Please note calling off using the "drop a shift" app feature is linked to the following facility's specific attendance policies and points will be added. The attendance policy has NOT changed.
Ferguson Box
Spectrum
Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) - Fort Mill DC
Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) - Fontana, CA
Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) - Mission, TX
Here's How You "Call Off" using the MyWorkChoice App
Log in and go to "My Shifts" and select "Upcoming"
Select the shift you're not able to work > Go to the bottom of the screen and select the "Drop Shift" button.
Once you select the button you'll see a confirmation message asking "Are you sure you want to drop this shift?" If yes, select the yellow "Drop Shift" button.
After you confirm, you'll receive the confirmation message below that you've successfully dropped your shift.
You'll be able to see the "Dropped" status related to the shift you dropped under "My Shifts." To view and schedule other shifts that work better for your schedule, go to "Available."
If you have any questions about how to call off of work using the app contact your Community Director directly or start a chat message now.
